Phi Omega was founded in 1987 by Michelle Walsdorf and 7 additional founding members.

Since then, Phi Omega has grown and developed throughout the years to the organization at UWSP today!

Phi Omega was the first sorority at UWSP to de-gender its constitution, in addition to accepting both non-binary and female identifying members.

Today, Phi Omega has two philanthropies:

• Southwood Humaine Society

• Wisconsin Coalition Against Sexual Assault (WICASA)

Phi Omega also works to embody and portray the values and pillars of Knowledge, Philanthropy, and Friendship.
